How To Eat Ash Keys

Learn how to preserve ash keys as a wild food. I show you a method for pickling and fermenting ash keys which is easy to do. These are two ways to prepare and preserve this wild food so you can enjoy it year round. This whole exercise is an experiment though so time will tell if this process improves the ash keys flavour. Try it for yourself 🙂

Wild foods are so good for our overall health and whilst we're foraging we are also outdoors getting exercise, fresh air and sunshine on our faces.

  1. So excited to see the results! I think we’ll give it a try too as there’s loads of Ash around us ❤️

  2. Wow! I know what I’m foraging next week down the old country lane.

I was enjoying Linden leaves yesterday down the same lane (just missed the flowers unfortunately as the seeds were starting to develop) and what was left of the more tender garlic mustard leaves and dead nettles.

Looking forward to your update 🙂
