Wild Detectives: Tracking & Animal Signs

Join us again during a day of nature education for children as they become Wild Detectives for a day at our Forest School. In our second video we head out tracking with the kids looking for wild animal prints and other signs. Then the kids get to dissect barn owl pellets ot see what this nocturnal predator has been hunting. It's amazing what you find in nature when you really look.
This activity makes a great session for Key Stage 1 & 2 school children and we often work with school groups delivering outdoor education on a range of topics. If you'd like to get in touch with us to find out how we can rewild your school curriculum then please get in touch.

Thanks to our Wild Detectives for being YouTube stars for the day. Thanks also to their families for letting us film them.
In Part 3 of this series we take the kids on a minibeast hunt armed with our trusty magnifying glasses.
